WESTPORT, Conn. A house on Soundview Drive in Westport, across from Compo Beach, was being prepared for Hurricane Irene Friday afternoon as wooden planks were placed over several windows.
The National Weather Service has issued a hurricane watch for Fairfield County. The hurricane is projected to impact the region Saturday night into Sunday.
