WESTPORT, Conn. Westport students like Kristian Blanco finally headed back to school Thursday morning after the first day of school was postponed two days due to Hurricane Irene.
Kristian, who entered first-grade at Coleytown Elementary School, looked eager as he waited for the school bus outside his house.
Brothers Kyle and Cole Ehrlich looked equally excited, donning smiles before they left their house. Kyle started seventh-grade at Bedford Middle School and Cole started fourth-grade at Saugatuck Elementary School.
