Westport Library Offering Class On Archiving, Converting Memories

WESTPORT, Conn. -- Join experts Karen Herman of Organized Photos Forever and Susan Morrow of SwickPix to learn about archiving physical and digital memories and converting home movies to digital formats on Friday, Oct. 16, at noon, in the Westport Library’s McManus Room.

Find out how to organize photos and the importance of backing-up computer files, and learn how to devise a plan to protect photos at the program, which is free and open to the public. 

Herman, who has a marketing background, implements organizational systems to solve photo management problems and is certified through APPO, the Association of Personal Photo Organizers. 

Morrow, who is also a certified photo organizer with APPO, helps clients scan photos, edit print and digital photos and design and publish books. She also creates slideshows for life celebrations.
