WESTPORT, Conn. Bridgeport resident Cesar Yepes-Escobar, a former custodian at Coleytown Middle School, turned himself in to Westport police on two warrants charging him with sixth-degree larceny, police said.
The warrants stem from two separate incidents in which Yepes- Escobar, 31, allegedly stole electronics from the school. The first warrant states that he stole an iPod from the school in November, police said. While investigating that incident, police learned that Yepes-Escobar allegedly stole another item from another individual.
Yepes-Escobar turned himself in on Dec. 22 and was released on a promise to appear in court on Jan. 3.

? Stamford resident Alan Unger, 45, was arrested for driving with a suspended license on Christmas Eve after he reportedly hit two other cars and didn't stop, police said.
The police department received two separate complaints that Unger "bumped" into two cars while driving on Post Road East. He did not stop or call police, but the witnesses did catch his license plate number, police said.
An officer located Unger's car a short time later. Although there was no visible damage to the two cars he reportedly hit, police said Unger's car had significant front-end damage. It was also discovered that his license was under suspension. Unger was charged with evading responsibility, operating under suspension and following too closely. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond and is due in court on Jan. 3.
