Emergency calls came in around 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 4, for a blaze on Creative Drive near Research Place in the Central Islip Town Center.
The fire appears to involve a large commercial building listed as Creative Bath Products Inc., a bathroom supply warehouse.
As of 12:45 p.m., multiple fire crews remained on scene, according to reports. Smoke could be seen rising from the warehouse as firefighters worked from both the ground and the roof.
It was not immediately if anyone was injured or what sparked the fire. Daily Voice has reached out to the Central Islip Fire Department for comment.
