“Below Deck Mediterranean” cast member Nathan Gallagher was convicted of three domestic violence offenses on Tuesday, Sept. 1, after failing to appear for a scheduled hearing in a Sydney court, according to multiple reports.
A magistrate convicted Gallagher, 28, in his absence and issued a warrant for his arrest. The New South Wales Police Force said he was believed to be offshore.
Bravo announced on Thursday, Sept. 3, that it had ended its relationship with the superyacht bosun.
“Bravo does not plan on working with Nathan in the future,” a network spokesperson told the Los Angeles Times.
Gallagher was convicted of common assault, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and intentionally choking a person without consent.
The charges followed an incident involving his former partner and co-star, Gael Cameron, on Friday, Dec. 26, 2025. The two share a young son.
Police arrested Gallagher on Saturday, Dec. 27, 2025, at an apartment complex in the Sydney suburb of Melrose Park. He was later released on conditional bail and had pleaded not guilty to all three charges.
Gallagher had been scheduled to contest the charges at Burwood Local Court. Immigration records presented during the proceedings showed that he was outside Australia, according to reports.
New South Wales Police subsequently released Gallagher’s photograph and asked the public for help locating him:
Gallagher previously acknowledged making mistakes but argued that the public had heard only one side of a complicated relationship, according to Rolling Stone:
Cameron addressed the situation on Saturday, Sept. 5, thanking supporters and saying she was concentrating on healing, rebuilding, and caring for their son, Us Weekly reported.
Gallagher appeared during seasons nine, 10, and 11 of “Below Deck Mediterranean.” Filming for the current season ended before his arrest.
Bravo does not plan to remove Gallagher from episodes that were already filmed, according to the LA Times. He will not appear in future seasons.
