SOMERS, N.Y. The University of Rhode Island awarded more than 3,500 degrees at its 126th commencement exercises May 19-20, and among the graduates were three Somers residents.
Briana A. Blum received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism.
Nicholas J. Voss received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Nicole Gerosa received a Professional Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
The University of Rhode Island is located in Kingston, Rhode Island, with additional campuses in Providence, Narragansett and West Greenwich. The Universitys pharmacy program is considered one of the best in the country.
