Uber released its 10th annual Lost & Found Index on Tuesday, June 2. The report highlights the most unusual, valuable, and frequently forgotten belongings that riders lost nationwide.
Many of the most commonly lost items have remained the same over the years, while others reflect changing cultural trends.
"From AirPods becoming an everyday essential, to vaccine cards and face masks taking over in 2021, Ozempic making its way into backseats in 2025, and viral Labubu plushies riding shotgun this year, the Lost & Found Index has become an unexpected time capsule of the past decade," Uber said.
Here's Uber's top 10 most unique lost items:
- Dentures with two teeth
- Breast milk
- Human hair
- Donny Osmond group picture
- Ankle monitor
- 420 donuts
- George Washington hospital discharge papers
- Sack of marbles
- Oxygen tank
- Gold mouth grillz
Uber also highlighted trendier objects that were forgotten in vehicles in 2026. Labubu collectible dolls were among the most frequently lost novelty items, while the rideshare company noted a rise in wellness products like peptides, sea moss, protein powder, and mouth tape.
The report also showed the top 10 luxury items left behind:
- Supreme headband
- Balmain navy blue blazer with gold buttons
- Gold Rolex
- Diesel-brand cap with a large metal logo
- Air Jordan 1s
- Black Gucci belt
- Black Dior shawl
- Hermes sandal
- Burberry throw blanket
- Alexander Wang heel
Uber also mentioned plenty of odd food and beverages forgotten, including 70 tiramisu cakes, a Thanksgiving meal, a strawberry coconut peach cake with spaghetti, and 50 avocados.
The index named New York City the nation's most forgetful city, while July 17 ranked as the most forgetful day of the year.

Uber also showcased its most unique items forgotten over the past decade:
- 2017 - A lobster
- 2018 - Divorce papers
- 2019 - A salmon head
- 2020 - A "virginity rocks" lanyard
- 2021 - A large painting of Kate Middleton
- 2022 - 500 grams of caviar
- 2023 - A live dog (toy poodle)
- 2024 - A fake butt
- 2025 - Taxidermied rabbit
- 2026 - A 75-gallon fish tank
Uber recently launched a "lost items experience" to help riders recover things left behind in a vehicle. The feature is live in states like Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, with nationwide availability expected by the end of 2026.
