STAMFORD, Conn. The Stamford Hurricanes Boys U13 Gold wrapped up their inaugural season with a 6-2 win over Trumbull, finishing 5-3 in league play and 7-4 overall. In the final game, Mikolaj Musial and Uriy Yosypiv each scored a pair of goals. The other goals came from Angel Uribe and Benjamin Joseph. Yosypiv had a hand in all of the goals.
Will Hallett played well in goal with five saves. Joe Magnifico, Matthew Alswanger, Liam Shanahan, Jason Alvarez and Brandon Hoak played strong defense. Benjy Robinov, Matthew Rutherford, Julian Gallego, Jorge Cordova, Darin Harper and Juan Medina contributed to the win from the midfield.
