Two unleashed dogs attacked a woman and her dog Sunday in Dariens Woodland Park, police reported. The woman reported that she had been walking her dog, which was on a leash, when they were approached by two other dogs, which were walking in front of their owners. The woman asked the owners if the dogs were friendly, to which they replied, "Sometimes." The two dogs then attacked the leashed dog. The woman had to lift her dog up by the harness in order to protect it. The two dogs then bit the woman on the arm. Because she was wearing long sleeves, the bites did not break the skin, but her dog was bleeding from its head and body and was treated at the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center in Norwalk. The woman told police that while the attack was happening, the owners of the two attacking dogs did nothing to stop or restrain their dogs. She was able to get a picture of two cars in the parking lot, but when police investigated they found that the cars owners did not own dogs.

A man driving on Mansfield Avenue Saturday night had his windshield cracked by an object thrown at his car, police reported. Police responding to the parking lot of St. Paul's Church, where the man had pulled over, saw that the hood was wet and there were blue pieces of plastic on the windshield, leading them to believe it was a water balloon.
