Two people were hospitalized Thursday afternoon after a four-car crash on the Merritt Parkway between exits 42 and 44 northbound. Westport firefighters responded to the call at about 2:46 p.m. and upon arrival, began treating the injured.
One man was treated for a cut on his hand. Another man complained of chest pain. Both were taken to the hospital for further treatment, Assistant Fire Chief Robert Kepchar reported.
Three of the four cars had to be towed. State police were in charge of the investigation.
