FAIRFIELD, Conn. Two break-ins were reported on the grounds of Fairfield Ludlowe High School this week.
On Tuesday morning, a jogger on the schools running track told police that a window was smashed in on the concession stand near the football field. Investigators found that the windows screen had been pushed in, causing an estimated $500 in damage. Packages of candy were reported missing.
A second break-in was reported at the same concession stand Wednesday morning. The plywood covering the window after the first incident was found destroyed. A garden hose was placed in the window, with water running into the building. The estimated damage to the building and the merchandise inside was about $1,000.
