The work includes underground manhole and pipe installation near the Alexander Hamilton School and wire work on Ackerman Avenue (from Harristown Road to Prospect Street) and Prospect Street (from Ackerman Avenue to Saddle River Road), according to a schedule from PSE&G.

All of the work is scheduled to take place from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday-Friday of this week. While work near the Alexander Hamilton School is not expected to cause traffic delays, some road closures are possible with both Ackerman Avenue and Prospect Street projects, according to the utility company.

Glen Rock police will be assisting with traffic when necessary, but residents are asked to avoid the construction areas if possible.

Anyone with questions or concerns should call 1-800-901-5035 or visit the utility's website.
