UPDATE, 5:25 p.m. Wednesday - Police reported that the flooding has subsided and all roads have been reopened.
RYE, N.Y. -- A section of Milton Road between Dearborn and Hewlett avenues flooded Wednesday shortly before noon due to tidal activity along Milton Harbor.
Rye Police have blocked of Milton Road at Garden Drive and Hewlett Avenue while the floodwaters are being pumped out. Motorists are advised to use Forest Avenue for travel to Milton School or Milton Point.
