NORWALK, Conn. Three people were shot late Monday night on North Taylor Avenue after a fight escalated into gunfire, Norwalk Police Chief Harry Rilling said. One victim is in Stamford Hospital with a non-life threatening injury. The others were treated at Norwalk Hospital and released.
"It looked like it started out as a fight and it went bad," Rilling said. He said that a group of people had been fighting throughout the evening. "We're kind of investigating whether there's a connection between those fights and the shooting," he said.
The shooting was reported at about 11:30 p.m.
