The lightly clothed body of 28-year-old Alexis Scanlon was found off New Unionville Road in Plattekill Friday, Feb. 26, police said.

A person known to police as a “transient,” Scanlon apparently died on Thursday, Feb. 25, at the home of one of the suspects, Angel Delgado, police said.

Now charged with concealing a corpse, a felony, and sixth-degree conspiracy, a misdemeanor, are Degado, 44; Kristen A. Green, 41; and Lauren A. Roman, 33, police said.

The three suspects were processed at the state police barracks in Highland and arraigned in the Town of Plattekill Court.

They were all sent to Ulster County Jail on $5,000 cash, or $10,000 bond, bail, police said.

The investigation into Scanlon’s death, which police called suspicious, is ongoing.

News12 has reported that police sources told them Scanlon was a known prostitute and drug user.

The results of an autopsy are being awaited, the News12 report said.
