MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. -- A book sale, sheep shearing festival and yoga are some of the events schedule to take place this weekend in the Mount Pleasant area.
Friday, April 27
-Insiders Tour, Stone Barns Center: 11 a.m. Take an inside look at the facilities of the Stone Barns Center. The tour looks at areas of the center such as the greenhouses, gardens, livestock areas and more. Admission is $18 for adults and $12 for children.
Saturday, April 28
-Friends of the Library Book Sale: 9 a.m. 4:30 p.m. The Mount Pleasant Public Library will hold a book sale with hundreds of various titles. The sale will also include CDs and DVDs.
-Sheep Shearing Festival, Stone Barns Center: 10 a.m. 3 p.m. Join the fun activities of Sheep Shearing Festival at the Stone Barns Center. Enjoy wool weaving activities, sample varieties of sheep milk and yogurt, among more activities.
Sunday, April 29
-Free Yoga Class, Breaking Ground Dance Center: 9:30 a.m. Enjoy a free and relaxing yoga instruction with instructor Karen Young. All levels of experience are welcome and those attending should bring their own mats.
