PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- It's one of the biggest party nights of the year, and several city establishments will be holding special Thanksgiving Eve celebrations.
12 Grapes
The venue will be holding a Pre-Thanksgiving Rock-n-Roll Party with 3 Ton Jack, a classic rock band that will play songs from The Who, The Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughn and ZZ Top to Pearl Jam, Green Day and Weezer, Billy Idol, Def Leppard, 3 Doors Down and Stone Temple Pilots. $5 Entertainment Fee for all, including diners. The bar will be closed Thanksgiving Day.
Birdsall House
On Thanksgiving Eve, Birdsall House hosts Peekskill's own Phineas and the Lonely Leaves. The show starts at 10 p.m. There will be $3 Goose Island 312 Urban Wheat pints & $5 well drinks until midnight. On Thanksgiving Day the bar opens at 5 p.m. but the kitchen will be closed.
The Cove
The Cove will hold its annual Thanksgiving Eve party with the Aerosmith tribute band Get Your Wings. Come early as the opening band 1000 proof goes on at 9 p.m. playing the best classic rock, then go back to the time when rock ruled with songs from the bad boys from Boston. No cover.
Peekskill Brewery
The brewery will celebrate Thanksgiving Eve this year with the band Billy and the Barfights. The show starts at 10 p.m. in the dining room and admission is free. Must be 21 to enter. The brewery will be open on Thanksgiving Day at 7 p.m. for the night NFL football game but only drink service will be available.
