Chianti doesnt get much respect. But thats all about to change, if Mario Batali and Joe Bastianich have anything to say about it. Sept. 20, Batalis Tarry Lodge in Port Chester will host a four-course tasting dinner paired with Chiantis from the celebrated and award-winning producer Fattoria di Felsina.
Youll get more than a good meal, too. A representative from the winery will talk to guests about Chiantis history and characteristics, helping to dispel the myth that Chianti is a second class wine.
