Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3.

Tancredi previously served on the town board representing Ward 6 before being elected to supervisor. Tancredi says the town has consistently remained under the tax cap and is addressing infrastructure needs, according to the Poughkeepsie Journal.

Englehardt said the town needs to find a way to help seniors stay in their homes by reducing wasteful and excessive spending. He said he has a plan to review budgets and make appropriate cuts, according to the Journal.

Jon Baisley, William Carlos, Joseph Conte, Michael Cifone, and Joseph Lepore are running unopposed for town council in Wards 1 through 5.

In Ward 6, Democrat incumbent Ann Sherwin faces Republican challenger John Simmons.
