FISHKILL, N.Y. – Susan Lynn Duncan, a lifelong resident of Fishkill, died on Tuesday, May 24, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 51.
She was born in Poughkeepsie on May 23, 1965. She attended Fishkill Elementary School and graduated from John Jay High School in 1985.
Susan worked for the Gap Distribution Center in Fishkill as well as Frankie’s Superette in Hopewell Junction. She was a member of the Fishkill United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, William Duncan Velez, of Fishkill; her parents, William and Nancy (Hamm) Duncan of Fishkill; her sister, April Leanne Straus and her husband, James, of Tigard, Ore.; and her brother, Keith William Duncan and his wife, Keri, of Highland.
Visitation will be on Sunday, May 29, from 5-6 p.m. on Sunday at Fishkill United Methodist Church, 38 Broad St., Fishkill. A memorial service will follow at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Fishkill United Methodist Church. Arrangements are being handled by McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill.
