ARMONK, N.Y.- Supervisor William Weaver sent out an email-blast to residents of North Castle Monday afternoon, which updated the community on road conditions around town.
"Route 128 has been cleared; Route 120 has been cleared; Route 22 south of Banksville Road has been cleared; Byram Lake Road has been cleared as of 12:30 p.m.," Weaver said in the statement. "Work continues to clear Route 22 north of Banksville Road."
Still with more than 80% of North Castle without power, Weaver assured residents in his email that everything is being done to try to get power restored.
"Con Edison, private contractors and town crews are working around the clock. Every part of town is affected....Con Edison estimates that power will be restored to most North Castle areas by midnight Thursday evening," Weaver said.
