Shortly before 10 a.m. on March 9, members of the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office were called to the building to investigate a reported bomb threat.

The school was evacuated, officials said, while students and staff were relocated to another nearby school to allow the agency to investigate.

Parents have been asked not to come to the school while the probe is ongoing, officials said.

More information is expected to be released by the sheriff's office as the investigation continues.
