The long-awaited renovation of the Hawthorne Metro-North station is expected to be complete in a matter of weeks, according to Michael Malone, of the blog trainjotting.com By mid-July commuters should be able to stop for a bite to eat at the new Station Cafe.
Itll be a nice place to stop in and get a cup of coffee, Mount Pleasant Town Supervisor Joan Maybury told Malone. Itll be a great addition so far everything is moving along.
In addition to an interior renovation, new sidewalks will be installed.
