State Senator Greg Ball (R,C- Patterson) also attended the meeting. He give legislative updates on the property tax cap, mandate relief, the state budget and movement within the Legislature to possibly eliminate MTA payroll tax.
Ball admitted that the 2 percent property tax wasnt perfect but he said it was way to force his colleagues to face the issues that are burdening tax payers in the state, such as unfunded mandates.
