The homecoming crowd at Staples High School saw the Wreckers improve to 7-0 Saturday with a 35-10 victory over Fairfield Ludlowe. Tyler Jacobs had a big day for the Wreckers, scoring four touchdowns.
Jacobs scored on runs 4, 15 and 71 yards and also returned an interception 32 yards for a touchdown. Staples' other touchdown came on a pass from Jack Massie to Pat Murray.
Staples travels to Wilton Friday.
