Staples Cancels Vigil For Student

WESTPORT, Conn. -- School officials at Staples High School cancelled a candle light vigil for a student who committed suicide on Saturday, according to CT Post.

Organizers of the vigil said they hope the family of Christopher Lanni find solace knowing the idea of the vigil has already had a positive impact, CT Post reported. 

Lanni's parents sent a letter to school officials asking them to investigate allegations that their son was the target of bullying, CT Post said.
