The young, hip duo, known as Analog Fire, which consists of Eno Freedman-Brodmann and Stamfords Gregory Louisy, have joined forces with urban rapper E.L.I.T.E. to produce their debut music video, Tunnel Vision (http://youtu.be/RXH3fpKREQE) Both musicians say they are are passionate about their work. "As artists and musicians it is our duty to feel the world we live in and to communicate back to it through expression," Louisy said. In anticipation of the inevitable frigid winter weather, Backyard Humanitarian is organizing a coat drive through Oct. 26. Donations of new orused clean coats in any size can be dropped off at Mario's Professional Dry Cleaners, run by Mario Socci, at 1001 Hope St., in Springdale. Volunteers are needed to organize and distribute the coats to area residents. Last year the group collected over 700 coats.Backyard Humanitarian is a grassroots volunteer organization founded by Angela Margaret Malizia that aims to feed the hungry, help veterans and support senior citizens, among other activities. The Sathya Sai Centers of the NorthEast, the K. T. Murphy School PTO and Club BeWell are sponsoring a Family Health Fair on Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the K. T. Murphy Elementary School at 19 Horton St. in the Cove section of town. The mission of the worldwide Sri Sathya Sai Organization is to serve the needy in local communities, says local member Shobhna Bhatnager. Along with Club BeWell - an organization that encourages young people to learn about their health - the event will feature free health screenings and flu shots, and yoga and meditation classes.
