Maureen Bayne and the Friends of Ferguson are holding Eat Play Read on May 19 from 6-9 p.m. to benefit the library. The evening will feature of food, spirits, a live auction and jazz entertainment performed by the Cookie Thomas band. The Collins family of Stamford is elated to share great news! Westhill senior Max Collins, son of Al and Diane Ferber-Collins, is following in his fathers academic footsteps and has been accepted at Dennison University. He will attend the Granville, Ohio, college this fall.
Eva Weller and Donn Reid invite the public to attend Community Conversations on Monday, May 23, at 6 p.m. at the Stamford Government Center. Supported by a Graustein Fund grant to encourage parental involvement in education, the free event will focus on creating a safe learning environment for students. The Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) Alumni Association, along with the support of 15 local partners, including the Stamford Public Schools, PT Council, ROSCCO and DOMUS Foundation, are organizing this event.
