Stamford Hackathon To Include Seminar On Improving Network Security

STAMFORD, Conn. -- This year’s Stamford Hackathon will include a network security event hosted by U.S. Computer Connection on tips to improve business and healthcare network security.

The Hackathon will be from Feb. 19 to 22 at The Stamford Innovation Center, 175 Atlantic St.

The U.S. Computer Connection event, "Network Security: Plan Your Attack Against the Hack," is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  and will include lunch for registrants.

U.S. Computer Connection will provide business owners, healthcare administrators and IT professionals with practices and policies to improve network security. Attendees will review tips for employee training, best practice network security and what to do should the worst happen. 

The Stamford Hackathon is a three-day event that brings the tech community together for a fun-filled and educational weekend. 

For those who are interested in bettering their network security practices and procedures U.S. Computer Connection’s presentation will include step by step actionable improvements. Everything from understanding the current security system to upgrading these procedures, creating a disaster plan and more will be covered .

President of U.S. Computer Connection Garry Feldman will be present at the event, along with Senior Network Engineer, Marlon Bermudez.
