STAMFORD, Conn. The 3-year-old students of New Canaan Community Nursery School received a special treat when Jay Inzitari of Stamfords RMS Companies arrived for Show and Tell to teach them all about building materials.
The special guest came fully prepared to the classroom bringing his hard hat, blueprints, several materials for the kids to touch and feel and his tools, drawing oohs and aahs from the students, the RMS press release said.
Inzitari, a senior project manager, has donated his time on several different occasions at the school in the past few years after RMS Companies built an extension there, the release said. His most recent visit was a part of Construction Month at New Canaan Community Nursery School, the release said.
The addition allowed the school to add a new, working kitchen, administrative offices and more classroom space, the release said.
