Officers observed the operator of the electric dirt bike fail to stop at a red light on Wednesday, Nov. 5, Manasuan police said. When officers attempted to stop the biker, they eluded police, eventually going 50 mph on East Main Street.
Police did not attempt a pursuit and the bicyclist was able to flee the scene, police said.
