Nicholas A. Mendoza, 21, was pulled over for allegedly committing a traffic violation. Mendoza then allegedly failed a series of sobriety tests and was arrested, according to the sheriff's department.
If found guilty of the misdemeanor charge, the defendant could face up to a year in jail and a fine of up to $1,000.00, authorities said.
