The Westport Little League Softball program is hosting and participating in a 30-team tournament this weekend. Games are also being played in Redding, Fairfield and Black Rock, with teams from Fairfield, Darien and Redding/Easton among the contestants.
Games are being played in several age groups. Westport is hosting games for Major League players in sixth and seventh grades. Games were played Friday and Saturday and will continue Sunday. Town Hall North, Greens Farms and Meyer Field are the game sites in Westport. A complete schedule is available online.
