It looks like we haven't seen the last of the terrible winter that bombarded Darien with more than 70 inches of snow this year. Even though spring has arrived and the sun is shining warm and bright, a little more snow is on its way this week.
The National Weather Service is reporting an 80 percent chance of snow for Wednesday, mainly after 2 p.m. The high temperature is predicted be near 37 degrees, with a total of less than an inch of snow expected. It won't stop there, however. Another 1 to 3 inches of snow is expected Wednesday night. Thursday could bring more snow in the morning, as the weather service predicts a 30 percent chance of precipitation, mostly before 8 a.m. On Friday and Saturday, it should be sunny, with highs in the 40s. We can expect cloudy weather Sunday and in the beginning of next week.
