Snoopy Needs a Home in Fairfield

FAIRFIELD, Conn. – Say hello to Snoopy. This elderly purebred cocker spaniel is this week’s edition of “Wednesday’s Pet,” and is waiting to be adopted at the Fairfield Animal Shelter.

“She’s perfect for someone who might want a nice, calm dog,” said Selectman Sherri Steenek, who started Wednesday’s Pet to draw attention to the pets needing homes in Fairfield. “She spent the night with one of my friends during the hurricane, because we had to take the dogs out of the pound, and she was very good.”

So far every dog and cat brought to Board of Selectmen meetings as Wednesday’s Pet has been adopted. If you’re interested in taking Snoopy home, you can adopt her for a $5 fee at the Fairfield Animal Shelter at 211 One Rod Highway. You can see the shelter’s other pets that need homes at Petfinder.
