Service between Hoboken and the World Trade Center and Hoboken and 33rd Street was originally suspended Friday morning as crews worked to investigate, PATH announced on social media.
Firefighters initially responded and the condition led to repairs needed at the scene.
At 3:48 p.m., it was announced the service would remain suspended through the evening. No injuries were reported.
