The satellite radio company was accused of contacting people listed on the National Do Not Call Registry or who had directly asked SiriusXM to stop calling. SiriusXM denied wrongdoing but agreed to settle the claims for $28 million.
The lawsuit was originally filed in October 2025 and involves calls made between Saturday, April 27, 2019, and Thursday, Oct. 31, 2025. The deadline to submit a claim is Friday, March 21.
To qualify, you must have received more than one call during the six-year period and asked to be placed on SiriusXM's internal "do-not-call" list but still were contacted. You also qualify if you received calls despite not being a SiriusXM subscriber and had been on the National Do Not Call Registry for at least 31 days.
The settlement administrator has not released estimated payout amounts. Final payments will depend on how many valid claims are submitted, and a judge is expected to consider final approval of the settlement on Monday, May 11.
Eligible consumers can submit a claim online through the official settlement website, where the claim form and instructions are available.
