HARRISON, N.Y. - Westbound traffic along Halstead Avenue in downtown Harrison has been slightly diverted for sidewalk reconstruction until Wednesday, officials said. Road cones have the two-way street split into one lane until the work is finished.
The reconstruction work begins in front of the Executive House apartment complex at 244 Halstead Ave. and extends to the Senior Center at the corner of Halstead Avenue and Broadway.
Workers said new panels will be placed at select spots along the sidewalk and the roadwork should be complete by Wednesday.
