WILTON, Conn. The 2012-13 school year is underway in Wilton, but should it start before Labor Day?
Wilton Public Schools opened their doors on Monday for thouands of students to start the new school year. However, the new year begins prior to Labor Day. While some may welcome the idea of an early holiday weekend, some say that starting after the last major summer holiday makes more sense as it gives families more time for vacation and to prep for the new school year.
What do you think? Should Wilton Schools reschedule the start of the school year for after Labor Day or should they leave well enough alone? Let us know by leaving a comment below. You can also share your thoughts on our Facebook page or send an email to [email protected].
