At 9:20 p.m., officers in Bound Brook responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Vosseller Avenue and West High Street, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald, Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Acting Chief of County Detectives Meredith McKay, and Bound Brook Chief of Police Jason Gianotto said.
No injuries were reported, authorities said. The incident remains under investigation, but authorities stressed there has been no indication of an active threat to the public, authorities said.
