MOUNT PLEASANT, N.Y. The Mount Pleasant Police Department received a notice Tuesday from the Westchester County Department of Public Safety that registered sex offender Thomas Jenkins has moved into the Valhalla area.
The 37-year-old Jenkins was convicted of first degree sexual abuse of a 9-year-old girl, a class-D felony, in 2004. Jenkins was sentenced to 42 months in a state prison. He is considered to be a sexual violent offender.
The County Department of Public Safety is unable to disclose a specific residence address.
Jenkins also goes by the name Gregory Palmer and is a previous resident of 31 Pearl Street in Yonkers.
