Officers were dispatched at approximately 4:57 p.m. to the intersection of Randolph Road and New Hampshire Avenue in Colesville after reports of a collision involving a Montgomery County Public Schools bus and another vehicle, according to police.
Authorities said the striking vehicle left the scene before officers arrived.
Students were on board the school bus at the time of the crash, police confirmed.
No injuries were reported.
Police have not released information about the suspect vehicle as the investigation remains ongoing.
