Scattered Thunderstorms Will Threaten Putnam

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Scattered morning thunderstorms will give way to sunny skies that should remain throughout the week, according to the National Weather Service.

Sunshine and temperatures in the 80s will keep Putnam residents playing outdoors.

Gradual clearing will continue on Tuesday with a high near 86 degrees.

Expect mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the low 80s on Wednesday and throughout the rest of the work week.

Temperatures will climb a bit for the weekend with abundant sunshine and highs in the mid-80s.
