SOMERS, N.Y. - Santa Claus made his annual trip to Somers via firetruck last weekend to present candy canes to all the good little girls and boys.
The Inzero family was ready and waiting with about a dozen others when Santa pulled into Krystal Drive in The Willows.
You hear the siren and you know something is happening, said Isabella Inzero, 7.
Isabellas sister Alexa, 3½, watched as Santa dismounted with his firefighting elves, distributed his candy canes, made a mental note of what everyone wanted for Christmas and continued on his rounds.
Michael and Christine Abrenica were at Londonderry Lane to greet Santa for the second year. Christine asked Santa for items from American Girl. Michael said he wants Trash Packs and Legos.
