While employed with the City of Millville as a Public Safety Telecommunicator/Dispatcher for the Millville Police Department, Samantha Simpkins unlawfully accessed or otherwise accessed in excess of her designated authority, multiple restricted items of data from the Millville Police Department and New Jersey Judiciary databases, Cumberland County Prosecutor Jennifer Webb McRae said.
Simpkins shared restricted data obtained from said databases with unauthorized persons on several occasions between November 2024 and August 2025, Webb-McRae said.
She is charged with computer theft by unlawful access of computer data and official misconduct, among other charges, Webb-McRae said.
