The circus is coming to town. The New Canaan YMCA and the Kiwanis Club are once again presenting the Circus Vidbel at Saxe Middle School. The big top will be up Thursday and Friday. There are two show each day, at 3 and 6 p.m.
The performance is a traditional, old-time circus, complete with acrobats, aerialists, jugglers and, of course, clowns. There will also be dog and horse shows, but the organizers stress that no wild animals will be used. Profits go toward programs at the YMCA and the Outback Teen Center.
Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Children under 2 are free. Tickets are on sale at the YMCA, the Bank of New Canaan, Baskin-Robbins, Bobs Sports, First County Bank, Karl Chevrolet, New Canaan Diner, Elm Street Books, Gelatissimo and TD Bank.
