PARAMUS, N.J. -- Roseann C. (Clennan) Wirth -- a Paramus resident, formerly of Bergenfield and Fleischmanns, New York -- died on Wednesday, April 6. She was 89.
Before retiring in 1993, Wirth worked for Holy Name Hospital in Teaneck for over 25 years, as a personnel supervisor. She volunteered with Pre-Cana and was a Eucharistic minister at St. John the Evangelist Church in Bergenfield. After moving to Fleischmanns, New York, she continued to be a Eucharistic minister at Sacred Heart Church, in Margaretville, New York.
Wirth is survived by her children, Dennis Wirth and his late wife Kathleen, Michael Wirth and his wife Linda of Paramus, and Thomas Wirth and his wife Kathy of Brick; and grandchildren Kristina and her husband Derek, Dennis, Michael, Steven and Kristen.
She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Wirth, and her sister, Catherine Rowan.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday, April 8, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Ave., in Paramus. A funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home, followed by a 10 a.m. funeral mass at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, in Paramus. Interment will be at George Washington Memorial Park, in Paramus.
