HACKENSACK, N.J. -- Hackensack resident Rose (DiBona) Emelo died on Wednesday, Feb. 11. She was 99.
Emelo was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, in Hackensack.
She is survived by her children, John Emelo and his wife Kathleen, and Mary Tiencken and her partner Harold Jeppson; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Emelo was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, and her brother, Salvatore DiBona.
Visiting hours will be from 7-9 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, at Trinka-Faustini Funeral Service, 439 Maywood Ave., in Maywood. A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 16, at St. Francis of Assisi, with entombment to follow at Hackensack Cemetery.
