WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. Ronald "Ronnie" Daniel High, a White Plains native, died May 8 at Hackensack (N.J.) Medical Center, surrounded by family. He was 76.
He was born Feb. 2, 1936 in White Plains to Clarence and Viola High. He was married to Obie M. High and was most recently a resident of of Irvington, N.J.
High is survived by his wife; three daughters, Ronny High, Cheryl High and Gail (Leslie) Walls; a son, Todd S. High; two brothers, W. Clarence (Marlene) High III and Eugene High; a sister, Rosalie (Paul) Denby; eight grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
The wake and funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. on Tuesday at Bethel Baptist Church in White Plains. Andre Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
